Crème Brûlée Cheesecake Bars

creme brulee cheesecake bars drizzled with chocolate espresso sauce garnished with a raspberry and mint leaf

Hello again everyone!

I can't believe it's almost been two weeks since my last post 😳

I've been in kind of a slump and I wasn't happy with the content I was producing, or lack of, I should say. I feel like I'm finally back in my creative flow and I'm happy to share this delicious treat. This was actually inspired by one of my favorite seasonal Starbucks drinks - the Caramel Brûlée Latte. Since someone had already created a delicious creme brûlée treat, all it needed was some chocolate and espresso. Because everything tastes better with chocolate.

This recipe is by Jaclyn from CookingClassy.com. You can find her recipe here. She originally got the recipe from handletheheat.com The only thing I added was an espresso chocolate sauce by Taste of Home which you can find here.

If I were to start from scratch again, the only thing I would change is the consistence of the chocolate espresso sauce. It was a little runny and I like the texture to be more like a ganache. Instead I would just use milk chocolate chips and the espresso.

What other treats would you like to see me bake? I seem to be in the habit of combining recipes I find online.

Thanks for reading today's post and I cant wait to share more with you all soon!

until next time,
